Is yard debris burning allowed?

Yes you can burn natural vegetation provided that you contact South Carolina Forestry commission at 1-800-968-5299 along with notifying North Greenville Fire at 864-834-9332.  All Burns must be 50 Ft away from any structure, you must have water or someway of controlling the fire, and you can only burn natural yard debris (Grass, Leaves, tree limbs, etc...) that grow in your yard. Do you have birthday parties?

Yes, North Greenville Fire does host Birthday parties from time to time. We allow 1.5 hours from start to finish. We request that you stay in the designated areas and clean up after the party. North Greenville will allow the use of the room, and then Firefighters will show kids the trucks and answer any questions. Children must be supervised by adults at the party,  it is not North Greenville Fire's responsibility to supervise children. Firefighters will discuss with the planer what is required in the event that we do get a call during the party.  North Greenville Fire can not guarantee that on the day of the party that access to the building will be allowed at the start time of the party if Firefighters are on a call for service at that time. North Greenville will make every attempt possible to have someone at the station. 

Do you offer Smoke Detectors?

Yes North Greenville Fire does have a limited supply of smoke detectors and will give them to people that live inside district lines. Depending on quantity on hand will determine how many we are able to give at a time. We require the Name and Address of the location of detectors for records.
